The main objective of the study was to inspect an architectural project and dissect it in terms of its geometry, form, and building systems, WTC Transportation Hub in our case. The analysis was further used to generate a grasshopper script to portray the anticipated parametric logic applied to it to generate it’s 2 dimensional and 3-dimensional pati. Post the form analysis we created variations of the form by changing the interlinked parameters. The second segment of the assignment involved shade-shadow and radiation analysis of the variations using Ladybug. The final exercise comprised of exploring the form logic by optimizing certain parameters with rest to certain fixed constraints using Galapagos.
